Parkinson’s Care at Home

Parkinson’s disease affects around 153,000 people across the UK, with thousands more diagnosed every year. While symptoms vary from person to person, Parkinson’s can gradually impact movement, balance, speech and everyday activities. Behind every diagnosis is an individual and a family adapting to new challenges, which is why compassionate, personalised support can make such a meaningful difference.

Establishing Parkinson’s home care

Whether you’ve recently received a diagnosis or have been living with Parkinson’s for some time, the right support can help maintain independence and improve quality of life. Introducing home care early often allows routines to be established before daily tasks become overwhelming, helping individuals remain confident in their own homes for longer.

At Bloom & Care, our experienced Community Care Assistants understand that Parkinson’s affects everyone differently. We take the time to get to know each client, providing personalised support that adapts as needs change while promoting dignity, independence and wellbeing.

Bespoke Parkinson’s care plans to give you choice & control

Our collaborative approach ensures that each Parkinson’s Care Plan is regularly reviewed and adapted as needs evolve. A personalised Care & Support plan

In partnership with you, we will create a customized Care and Support Plan and select a trained caregiver with the appropriate personality and character to match your needs. Our caregivers are trained to be attentive and responsive to your needs, and they are perceptive enough to recognize and respect all the subtle nuances of your care.

We believe that attentively listening to your needs and paying attention to even the smallest details can make a significant difference in how you feel about the care you receive, with the goal of aiding you in achieving fulfilment and happiness. Once our service commences, you will continue to be in control, and we will adjust your Care and Support Plan to accommodate any changes in circumstances or any changes in the way you want your care to be delivered.

We monitor your care, so you’re always at peace of mind.

As a part of our service, we employ a computerized monitoring system that utilizes mobile phones to track the punctuality of our caregivers, ensure the completion of all the tasks specified by you, and record notes on the progress of the visit. If desired, family members can be granted access to these notes, ensuring that all those who require information about the delivery of care have the necessary access.

Peace of mind, accountability and transparency are at the core of our systems and processes.
