    Jessica

    PROUD OWNER

    Jessica Graziano RGN, spent several years working as a Community Nurse in the District Nursing teams of Bedford and the surrounding area. She has gained extensive knowledge of the area and the services available to people, enabling her to focus on providing specialised services to clients.

    Jessica is the Registered Manager at Bloom & Care and focuses on client assessments, review and quality control.

  • Kirsty

    PROUD OWNER

    Kirsty Miceli RGN joined Bloom & Care in December 2018, with her background as a District Nursing Sister and Practice Nurse, she brings with her a wealth of clinical skills and additional service provider access. Kirsty's main focus is operating systems, staff training and people management.

    Kirsty is our in house training expert and provides mandatory training from a nursing and social care perspective to ensure all staff are trained and supported.

    Mandy

    TEAM LEADER

    Mandy joined Bloom & Care in 2019, bringing a wealth of knowledge from her career in the social care sector. She oversees the delivery of care services ensuring the highest levels of care are provided to our clients. She liaises closely with our clients and their families, and the wider multidisciplinary team, particularly specialising in End of life care. As our valued Team Leader and Mental Health First Aider, Mandy spends a lot of her time supporting, shadowing and monitoring Senior and Junior staff on the field. Mandy’s kind and compassionate nature is impeccable and frequently lends a sympathetic ear to members of our team as well as the people we support.

    FIELD CARE SUPERVISOR

    Zoey joined Bloom & Care in 2020 as a junior team member, since then her dedication and hard work has helped her in progressing further in her career. Zoey’s role as Field Care Supervisor is to support in the commencement of new care packages, liasing closely with the client, their families and the wider MDT, to ensure the set up of care is a smooth and relaxed experience for all involved. Zoey produces personalised care plans and risk assessments for each of our clients, and is often a support in our clients annual reviews. Zoey is our computer whizz and is a pro at fixing our printer!

Our Senior Community Care assistants bring with them a wealth of experience and knowledge, each one of them has undertaken Bloom & Care Senior’s training program which covers safeguarding procedures, the On-Call service and supporting junior staff.

Alongside this, all our senior team are Dignity Champions.

Our Community Care Assistants undertake an advanced high-level training program in line with the core skills training framework which specialises in specific long-term conditions, including dementia, diabetes and end-of-life care as well as mandatory training requirements, enabling them to gain the appropriate knowledge to be confident and competent in the care and support they provide.

Alongside this, all employees at Bloom & Care undergo thorough background checks which include an Enhanced Disclosure & Barring certificate before beginning their career with us.

All Community Care Assistants’ are monitored regularly via unannounced spot checks, supervision and annual appraisals for quality assurance purposes which in turn supports Bloom & Care in providing the highest level of care and support to our clients.

Our Community Care Assistants have a wide variety of skill sets and knowledge with many of them working within the Health and Social care industry for several years. They have all undertaken the Care Certificate as well as many other training courses such as Dementia, Fall Prevention, Diabetes and End of Life Care enabling them to gain further knowledge in specific areas. All Community Care Assistants’ are ‘Dementia Friends’ so you may see a little badge on their uniforms when they visit you at home.

A personalised Care & Support plan

In partnership with you, we will create a customized Care and Support Plan and select a trained caregiver with the appropriate personality and character to match your needs. Our caregivers are trained to be attentive and responsive to your needs, and they are perceptive enough to recognize and respect all the subtle nuances of your care.

We believe that attentively listening to your needs and paying attention to even the smallest details can make a significant difference in how you feel about the care you receive, with the goal of aiding you in achieving fulfilment and happiness. Once our service commences, you will continue to be in control, and we will adjust your Care and Support Plan to accommodate any changes in circumstances or any changes in the way you want your care to be delivered.
